Agadir Inzeghan Suburb

INEZGANE, on the north bank of the Oued Souss, is almost a suburb of Agadir, just 13km distant. The two could hardly be more different, though, for Inezgane is wholly Moroccan, and is a major transport hub for the region – much more so than Agadir – with buses and grands taxis going to most southern destinations. It’s connected with Agadir by local bus #25 and #28 (very frequent) and by frequent grands taxis (4dh a place, arriving/leaving Agadir at Place Salam). Each of these, along with intercity buses, have their own section of the gare routière, which is off Avenue Mokhtar Soussi, a wide street with arcades on both sides, running from the central Place al Massira to the main Agadir road. Across Avenue Mokhtar Soussi, through the arcades, is a wonderful city market, full of fruit, veg, spices, knick-knacks and traditional cosmetics, and a hundred times more authentic than anything you’ll find in Agadir. From Place al Massira, the road makes a ninety-degree turn, and crosses Boulevard Mohammed V, Inezgane’s main street, where you’ll find the post office and most of the shops. Useful bus and grand taxi departures from Inezgane include Taroudannt, Essaouira and Marrakech.

Agadir History

Like it's women. Morocco is veiled and mysterious, revealing it's beauty only to the perceptive. Morocco, country of the Moors. It seems so far away and obscure, yet Morocco is remarkably accessible. You can jet to Morocco nonstop from New York on Royal Air Maroc in less time than it takes to fly to Rome, or by TWA via Lisbon three times weekly, including Saturday. If you are planning a European trip. you can get to Morocco in only a few minutes from several spots in Southern Spain—from Malaga by plane or ferry, Marabella by hydrofoil, Algeciras by ferry. Morocco's accessibility, rich culture, and history offer myriad treasures for any traveler.

Souks And The City :

Now in the cinema, Carrie & Co's Moroccan adventure in Sex And The City 2: The upcoming sequel is set two years after we last saw Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) and her friends and brings the girls out of their beloved New York on a trip of  Morocco. Little has been given away about the plotline, but the film will definitely include a wedding and perhaps a baby for an unlikely mother. Apparently happily married to husband Mr Big (Chris Noth), it is not known why Carrie decides to abandon him for a girlie trip to Marrakech with Samantha Jones (Kim Cattrall), Charlotte York Goldenblatt (Kristin Davis) and Miranda Hobbs (Cynthia Nixon).
